Analysis of past AS students

In this opening scene of this Psychological Thriller what went well was the storyline was easy to understand, and also in the beginning the credits were clearly shown at the bottom of the page with the production company which was good because it was easy to distinguish and clearly seen, however I think they could improved this work by conveying continuity editing because we could see clearly where each cut was which stripped the realism.

What went well in the second film opening was that they created suspense when the killer was shown such as the music changed tone which is good as it will capture the attention of people. They could have improved this by adding the credits into the opening instead of having a whole page for the credits as it takes our attention of the opening as we are focused on the credits. This will help us when making our opening because it showed how certain credits have an affect on the opening and how the camera-work and sounds can create emphasise on the scene and can create suspense.
